Iñaki Friera Urbistondo

Barakaldo (Bizkaia), 1962

He is a graduate in Basque philology and works as a translator-interpreter. He has written literature mainly for children and young people. He has also produced works of general interest or for adults.

He has translated L'entraineur de football (Christian Bourrel and Mauricio Seno) from French into Basque, which was published by the Sports and Basque Services of Deba (Gipuzkoa).

In collaboration with other translators he also translated the volume on sports that forms part of the Jakintza Arloka encyclopaedia published by Planeta, and the book Autoprotecci�n en el agua by Gabriel Astobiza Gracia.

He has also translated many works, all on the subject of sports for the Basque Institute of Physical Education.
